GEAR LIST(S)

 I have been guiding for 12 years now. I have purchased every knock-off and “cheaper model” out there. There is no substitute for quality gear when you are on a wilderness hunt. I have learned that lesson the hard, cold, often painful way! Below is a list of items that I use for my various hunts, followed by, where you can find them. I am typically in the bush for 1-4 months at time. The items and the quantities I list are what I bring for that period of time. Thus, the gear and quantities listed below are more than enough for a single hunt. The biggest thing to remember for clothing: NO COTTON. Fleece, Polyester, and even some wool fabrics are the ticket. Most wool clothing is too heavy, the only ones I would recommend are from Firstlite.
